The rules and regulations of the “SMS Premium Rozkład Jazdy” (SMS Premium Timetable)

Under the implementation of a project co-financed from EU funds - "The modernisation of the bus-stop infrastructure, including the development of the passenger-information system for the improvement of public urban transport in Lublin", the following Rules & Regulations of the "SMS Premium Timetable service are hereby established.

 

THE RULES & REGULATIONS OF THE “SMS PREMIUM Timetable”


§1

General provisions

 

1. The organiser of the service is ZTM in Lublin.

2. The service will be promoted on www.ztm.lublin.eu.

3. The service is aimed at providing information to public urban transport passengers on the next departures from bus stops.

4. The service can be accessed via all mobile phones, regardless of the operator.

 

§2

The terms of use of the service

 

1. The service is available to all mobile-phone users.

2. By sending a text message (SMS) to 70120 with an enquiry about the timetable, in the format specified in §5 point 1, the user receives information on the timetable in the format specified in §5 point 2.

3. The cost of one text message sent to 70120 is PLN 0.50 net or 0.62, VAT included.

4. If the text message sent does not comply with these Rules & Regulations, the sender will receive a return text message stating that the system did not recognise the enquiry.

The publication of the Rules & Regulations

 

1. The Rules & Regulations and any amendments thereto are available on www.ztm.lublin.eu.

 

§4
The limitations of the service

 

1. All data included in the service database come exclusively from the passenger information system operated by the Urban Transport Board in Lublin.

 

§5
The format of the enquiries and the replies

 

1. The service users should send enquiries in the following format:

“ZTM.nnnn” – where “ZTM” denotes the prefix of the service and “nnnn” the number of the bus stop for which the user wishes to obtain information on the next departures.

2. In the return text message, the user will receive information in the following format:

‹line›-›‹time of departure›…

 

§6

Final provisions


1. The rules of the functioning of the service are governed by these Rules & Regulations. Any promotional or advertising materials are only for informational purposes.

2. The GSM operators are only responsible for the provision of the telecommunications services which allow access to the service.

3. Any discounts for subscriber groups for subscription charges and additional services do not apply to the service-access numbers.

4. The operator reserves the right to deny access to the service to text messages sent by its employees, contractors and co-operators, and from devices using GSM operators’ test SIM cards.

5. By sending a text message to the service number, the user acknowledges his/her acceptance of the provisions hereof.

6. Entities in charge of the maintenance of the service bear no responsibility for the validity of information on the timetables included in the database of the ztm.lublin.eu service.

7. The organiser reserves the right to amend the provisions of these Rules & Regulations.

 

The service has been co-financed from the funds of the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Programme of the Lubelskie Voivodeship for the years 2007-2013.
