Representatives of Lublin and Chisinau public transport sector participated together at the Busworld Europe 2023 Exhibition. The 50th edition of the event took place in Brussels (Belgium) from October 7-12, 2023. It is considered to be the most important worldwide event dedicated to buses, coaches and their spare parts manufacturers.

Both partners had the opportunity to examine current trends in the field of urban transport and to get acquainted with the most recent transport systems with particular focus on zero carbon emissions.

 During the event, it welcomed over 40,000 visitors from 111 countries. The exhibition featured 75 bus and coach manufacturers, a significant increase from the 66 presented in the 2019 edition. In total, 526 exhibitors from 38 countries showcased their innovations. Inside the exhibition halls, a total of 222 vehicles were on display, showcasing the latest advancements in bus and coach technology. Additionally, 29 vehicles were positioned outside offering visitors a practical experience with the latest models and features.

 The ​​event covered key topics in the bus industry, including the evolution towards autonomous buses, digitalisation and low CO2 services and improving road safety through adaptive infrastructure, and much more.

 This event offered an excellent framework for the exchange of experience, where representatives of both cities had the opportunity to interact in the same place with the best transport experts and to meet bus manufacturers.

 The visit was carried out within the "MOVE IT like Lublin" project, financed by the European Union and implemented on the basis of a partnership between the City Hall of Chisinau and the City Hall of Lublin in Poland.
